The 2022 edition of the Cersaie International Exhibition, held in Bologna, was a resounding success, having welcomed a total of over 90 thousand visitors, with 624 companies from the ceramics and decoration sector participating. As expected, Esmalglass-Itaca also availed of the opportunity to present its latest proposals and renew contact with its most loyal clients.
Think Water, the concept behind DigitalGlass
This major meeting point, as Cersaie certainly is for the sector, is the ideal showcase for Esmalglass-Itaca to display the results of years of experience and innovation embodied in its products. Under the Think Water concept, water is the unifying thread of the market proposal for the brand. DigitalGlass is the product offering a digital water-based enamelling process implying a considerable reduction in the consumption of the vital liquid, the elimination of waste in an odour-free process, affording greater value to each drop and obtaining more efficient and sustainable products.
One of DigitalGlass’ major attractions in the fair was its commitment to sustainability, offering quality products which, moreover, meet the highest standards in terms of environmental impact, a reflection of the company’s commitment to being at the avant-garde, responding to the requirements of both the market and society.
Natural Ink, the proposal for oil-based inks
The range of products presented at the fair is not limited to water-based solutions like DigitalGlass. Those visiting the Esmalglass-Itaca stand in Bologna were given first-hand knowledge of how Natural Ink has evolved. Thanks to investment in technology and innovation, this line of oil-based natural inks has done away with problems relating to the generation of odours and has improved the intensity, luminosity, and depth of tones.
Using digitalization in processes has allowed the company to optimize production processes and offer products better suited to consumers’ tastes and needs, as well as helping it reach its goals in sustainability. At the latest edition of Cersaie, we were able to share all of this with the market.
